Tom Turner Joins Board as Chairman


NASHVILLE, TN—November 24, 2007-- Ultra Global Investments, LLC (UGI), announces today the acquisition of WV Fiber, Corp, a leading provider of high speed data networks and content development and delivery services. In addition, Tom Turner will join the Board of Ultra Global as Chairman.

Turner has been an investor in Ultra Global since its formation in March 2007 and has provided advice and counsel in the “go private” acquisition of WV Fiber from IMHI. Turner has also assisted in fund raising and strategic planning for the WV Fiber business.
Turner most recently held the position of President and CEO of Itronix Corporation where he grew the business of this leader in rugged wireless computing and completed the sale of the business to General Dynamics in 2005. Turner has held a number of executive leadership positions at WhereNet Datamax Corporation, Symbol Technologies and Wang Laboratories.
 
Mr. Turner retired from General Dynamics in September 2007 and will devote a substantial portion of his time to growing the business of WV Fiber and expanding the investment portfolio of Ultra Global Investment.
